Description   Eaton is the second largest single-phase UPS manufacturer in the world, specialized in enterprise-class solutions. Its EX 1000 is a high-performance UPS designed for harsh environments. Its double conversion, On Line UPS technology can ride through long lasting brownout conditions without draining the batteries while its high output provides typically 20% more power than comparable products. EX 1000 is packed with high-availability features like an automatic by-pass and hot-swappable batteries. This mini tower UPS can be installed anywhere and its backlit LCD display can be read even in dark areas. Its network manageability is outstanding due to switched outlets to remotely reboot connected equipment or to extend backup time for the most critical servers. The bundled software suite provides a vast array of power management capabilities, like the ability to shutdown multiple servers or to be interfaced with the network even without a Web/SNMP card.
